It can be free if your family doctor is willing to play ball. Hell some insurance plans actually help with the cost of the medicine. However 99% of the time family doctors refuse and your forced to see a “weed” doctor that you pay to get your license. The more grams/day allowed the more plants your allowed to grow. Price of the license reflects directly with consumption, meaning the more you want to grow the more your going to pay for your license. There are countless companies taking advantage of this sad situation and making a quick buck off it, just google how to get your ACMPR license and look at all the results.

Thanks for the reply northernfarmer. I spoke to my doctor awhile back and he said he would have to refer me to a specialist, so I guess I would have to pay, which sucks. If I were to get percocets for my back/neck pain it’s literally pennies a day... smoking proper medical cannabis costs me anywhere from $10-$25 a day just in product alone. I do choose to medicate with craft flower, so it does get pricey.

I just wish their was a cheaper alternative. Luckily I have a good job so it’s not an issue to medicate myself. But it must be extremely difficult for people who are disabled or are not working full time for whatever reason.

I’m still curious what the OP spent, hopefully he/she replies.
